Information you give us

• Contact and order details: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and the products you order.
• Payment details: these are processed directly by our payment providers. We don't see or store your full card number.
• Messages: anything you send when you email us or use our contact form, including photos you choose to share (for example, to help choose a shade).
• Reviews: your rating, comments, name and any photos you post.
• Marketing sign-ups: your email and/or phone number if you join our email or SMS list.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, links clicked, the site that referred you and approximate location derived from your IP.
• Cookies, pixels and similar technologies: used to run the store (for example, to remember your cart), measure how the Site is used and show you relevant ads. See section 5.

Information from others

We may receive information from payment providers (for fraud prevention), shipping carriers (delivery status) and advertising platforms (for example, how an ad performed).

• To process, ship and track your orders, and to handle refunds and the 30-day guarantee.
• To reply to your questions and give customer support.
• To send order and shipping updates.
• To send marketing emails or texts, but only where you've agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To measure and improve the Site, our products and our ads.
• To prevent fraud and keep the Site secure.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed for the purposes above:

• Our store platform: Shopify, which hosts the Site and processes orders (Shopify's privacy policy).
• Payment providers: Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
• Fulfillment and shipping: our fulfillment partner and the postal and courier services that deliver your order.
• Email/SMS and customer support tools: Klaviyo (email and SMS marketing).
• Analytics and advertising partners: Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use the Site (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) to help us improve it. Clarity masks text you type into forms.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or customers' safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. We don't sell your personal information for money. Some use of advertising cookies may count as "selling" or "sharing" under certain US state laws; see section 6 to opt out.

If you opt in to texts, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing messages from Retouvelle at the number you provide. Consent isn't a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. We don't share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.

We use cookies that are needed for the store to work, plus analytics and advertising cookies and pixels. You can manage cookies through our cookie banner (where shown) and your browser settings, and opt out of interest-based ads through aboutads.info and your ad platform settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of "sale" or "sharing" where the law requires it.

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other US states, and the EEA or UK, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you, or get a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your information;
• opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, targeted advertising and profiling;
• withdraw consent you've given (for example, to marketing); and
• appeal our decision on your request.

To make a request, email hello@retouvelle.com with the subject "Privacy request", or use the "Your privacy choices" link in our footer. We'll verify your identity before acting and reply within the time the law requires. You can use an authorized agent. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

EEA and UK visitors: we process your data to perform our contract with you (orders), with your consent (marketing and non-essential cookies), for our legitimate interests (security, improving the Site) and to meet legal obligations. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

We keep order records as long as needed for tax and accounting (usually up to 7 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Support messages are kept for up to 3 years.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and PCI-compliant payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

The Site isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, if the changes are significant, let you know by email or a notice on the Site.
